MA CBCS Course Revision
Regarding the introduction of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) at Masters level
Masters course in Political Science is being completely revised, to be taught in the new format of the Choice Based Credit System, already in operation at the undergraduate level.
The Department proposes to offer one core courses in each of the sub-disciplines of Political Science -- Political Theory, Indian Political Thought, Comparative Politics, Indian Politics, International Politics and Public Administration. These six courses shall be compulsory for all students.
In each of the sub-disciplines, a range of elective courses will be offered, exploring as much of the latest advances in them as possible. Overall, the effort of all faculty concerned has been to identify the major themes that have dominated the area, those significant currently and those that are likely to be on the frontiers in the future.
In this regard, the Department invites suggestions from all stakeholders.
