AREAS OF INTEREST

Islamic thought and International Relations, the history of Islamic philosophy, the politics of Muslim identity and current world order, Islam and the West in contemporary global affairs, the representation of Muslim identity in Hindi cinema, the history of ideas in South Asia, the epistemic foundations of Indian intellectual traditions, continental philosophy and, philosophy of science.

He has also worked in the areas pertaining to democratization in South Asia, Pakistan factor in India’s security and foreign policy and the domestic debates in India on the nuclearisation of subcontinental security.
